Dr. Huang is Regional head of Technology Research & Planning Department at Central Research Institute of Huawei Technologies. He is also appointed as a Scientist in Photonic System of Huawei. In the past 14 years, he has been leading R&D teams in a variety of projects, covering Training and Deployment of Deep Learning foundation models and LLMs, High Performance Computing, nano-Antenna for Meta-Lens, Privacy Preserving for AI, Adaptive Network Defense, Software-Defined Network (SDN), Large-scale Datacenter Network, 100 Tbit/s Optical Router, Fiber Channel switch, Optical IP/MPLS Networks, Reconfigurable Optical Add/Drop Multiplexer (ROADM), and VCSEL-PIN Transceiver, completing funding grant over S$ 15M. Dr. Huang has solid experiences in R&D Strategy, Business Development, Project Management, and a very broad knowledge and skills in Photonics, AI, 5G/6G, Quantum Computing, Advanced Materials, Sensing, Edge Computing, IoT, Clean Energy, Network Security, and other ICT. He is Senior Member of IEEE.
