"Hey there! I'm an AI PhD Candidate from National University of Singapore, and I spend my days building and breaking the most exciting tech out there: Generative AI (Gen AI).
My mission is pretty straightforward: make powerful Foundation Models (like LLMs and Diffusion Models) not just smart, but also efficient and safe enough for the real world. I’ve published my best work on this stuff in places like NeurIPS, ICML, and ECCV.
What I focus on:
Research Depth: I dive deep into optimizing Diffusion Models and LLMs for speed, and I’m currently thrilled about pushing the limits of Multi-modal Models (think complex Transfusion Models). Safety and Explainability are always non-negotiable for me.
Engineering Edge: I don’t just write theory; I build systems. I’m hands-on with the nuts and bolts of multi-node training on compute clusters and love getting into the weeds with low-level optimization to squeeze every drop of performance out of hardware. If it involves optimizing Inference Speed or scale, I'm in.
