Saurabh is Partner and Managing Director at Turmeric Capital, a private equity fund focused on growth equity investments in Southeast Asia, South Asia and the Middle East. Previously, he was an investor with L Catterton Asia in Singapore focused on consumer and retail private equity and venture capital investments. Prior to joining L Catterton Asia, Saurabh was an investor at the Abu Dhabi Investment Authority in Abu Dhabi where he focused on direct, co-investment, secondary, venture capital, growth equity and leveraged buyout investment opportunities in the Americas, Europe and Asia Pacific. Saurabh began his career as an investment banker at Lazard Freres in New York City where he focused on restructuring, debt placement and mergers and acquisitions advisory in the telecom, media and technology sectors.
Saurabh graduated from the Huntsman Program in International Studies and Business at the University of Pennsylvania, earning a B.S. in Economics from the Wharton School of Business and a B.A. from the College of Arts and Sciences. Saurabh holds an M.B.A. (with honors) from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania.
