As Chief of AI Ecosystem at AIMX Network, I focus on fostering meaningful connections among users, leaders, startups, corporations, SMEs, researchers, governments, investors, and innovators within the AI ecosystem. With over two years in this role, I have leveraged my expertise in ecosystem management, GTM, public relations, and crisis communications to drive impactful collaborations and enhance the growth of the AI community.
Additionally, I serve as an Ecosystem Advisor at the Centre for Progressive Artificial Intelligence Technology (CPAIT) and as an Ecosystem Partner for the AIM ASEAN Singapore Programme by the ASEAN Foundation. In these capacities, I contribute to building partnerships and supporting initiatives aimed at empowering Southeast Asian MSMEs and solving critical regional challenges through AI.
My dedication lies in transforming the technology landscape by connecting stakeholders and enabling innovation. In the lead up to my role as Director of Technology Ecosystem Cluster and China Market at MP Group, I am humbled to have had the chance to oversee the planning, partnerships-building and delivery of SWITCH (Singapore Week of Innovation & Technology), the largest startup & innovation festival in Southeast Asia.
Over 5 editions of SWITCH, I had grown the platform to be THE startup & innovation festival in Southeast Asia, with over 15,000 attendees from the global startup, investor, research and tech communities in its 2023 flagship edition.
My professional career started as the co-founder and co-owner of Aging Youth, one of Singapore's leading independent music labels in the early 2000s. I oversaw artiste management, events organisation and records distribution, and was humbled to learn the power of ecosystems through connecting indie bands, record labels, venues and record stores.
Over the course of my career, I had also led corporate & marketing communications teams in both listed corporations and public organisations, including ST Kinetics and JTC.
I am an amateur but very passionate parent with two wonderful children. I’m also trying to find time to learn the double bass and build radio-controlled buggies.
