A lifelong lover of literature, music, the arts, science, and philosophy, I work at the intersection of storytelling, technology, and cultural exchange.
Since 2024, I have been the Founder and Editorial Director of Eastern Wood, a Singapore-based publisher focused on curating and developing science fiction and speculative works across cultures. At Eastern Wood, I lead a small, highly selective team to curate and translate stories that reflect contemporary technological and social realities, as well as shifts in human nature. Our anthologies include 真龙有相 (Loong’s Tales), AI与爱 (AI and Ai), and 她的规则 (Her Story), with selected works recommended by the Chinese Science Fiction Database (CSFDB).
Prior to Eastern Wood, I worked across publishing and digital content at Future Affairs Administration, CITIC Press Group, GoodNovel, and COL Digital Publishing Group. I served as Translation Director for The Road to Science Fiction (Chinese edition, Yilin Press), widely regarded as a foundational anthology in science fiction and a key entry point for readers into the field, and have worked closely with Chinese science fiction authors on projects that have received major awards and been adapted for screen.
I am interested in how science fiction can serve as a medium for thinking through technological change, cultural difference, and human experience, and am always open to thoughtful collaborations across publishing, culture, and science.
