Tony is the founder of ATM Capital, and has a few decades of investment experience. He was an early investor in Meituan and J&T Express, and seven of his investments successfully went IPO.
Currently, he is focused on the Southeast Asia market. His lead investments include J&T Express (the largest express delivery company in Southeast Asia), Y.O.U (a leading emerging cosmetic brand in Southeast Asia), Jet Commerce (an integrated e-commerce service provider in Southeast Asia), Tomoro Coffee (an emerging coffee chain in Indonesia), and Joyice (a leading emerging ice cream brand in the Philippines).
Prior to ATM Capital, Tony founded Bat Capital and made angel investments in Waterdrop - a leading InsurTech company in China (NYSE.WDH), and Tuya Smart, the largest third-party AIoT platform in the world (NYSE.TUYA).
Tony served as a Vice President of CDH Venture Capital, where he invested in projects such as Fanduoduo. In addition, he was an early employee of Alibaba's Strategic Investment Division, where he participated in investments into Meituan, UCWEB, Sogou, Baozun, Lily & Beauty, PPS, and others. Prior to that, he had worked at Sina, Tencent, and Yahoo China between 2000 to 2007, and he has a deep understanding of China's Internet economic development.
Tony has a Bachelor's degree in Physics from Peking University, an MBA from Tsinghua University School of Economics and Management, an EMBA from China Europe International Business School, and an EMBA from Graduate School of People's Bank of China.
