Mr Dong Niandong is an Investment Banking Manager at CGS International Securities Singapore Pte. Ltd., with over six years of experience in the investment banking industry. He focuses on IPOs, listed company refinancing, and M&A transactions across the capital markets of Singapore, Hong Kong and Mainland China, and is skilled in servicing large-cap, industry-leading companies and strategic clients among China’s central state-owned enterprises, as well as preparing bid documents and delivering presentations for large-scale projects. He also possesses hands-on experience in landmark cross-border projects and strong cross-cultural working capabilities.
As a project lead or core deal team member, Mr Dong has worked on a number of equity transactions, including the secondary listing of Concord New Energy Group Limited on the Mainboard of the Singapore Exchange; the Hong Kong Main Board IPOs of Hive Box Holdings Limited, Nanshan Aluminium International Holdings Limited, Siory Holdings Limited, Beijing UBOX Online Technology Corp., and ShanH Technology Limited; the H-share placing of Guangzhou Rural Commercial Bank Co., Ltd.; the A-share IPOs of Guangxi Beibu Gulf Land-Sea New Energy Co., Ltd. on the Main Board of the Shenzhen Stock Exchange and Medcaptain Medical Technology Co., Ltd. on Shenzhen’s ChiNext board; and the A-share private placement of Beibu Gulf Port Co., Ltd. in 2023. He has also advised on significant M&A transactions, such as China Resources Sanjiu Medical & Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd.’s acquisition of KPC Pharmaceuticals, Inc. and China Resources Digital Technology Co., Ltd.’s acquisition of Linewell Software Co., Ltd. On the debt side, Mr Dong participated in the 2021 convertible bond issuance of Beibu Gulf Port Co., Ltd. The transaction value of successful projects exceeds 13 billion RMB.
Mr Dong joined CGS International Securities Singapore Pte. Ltd. in 2024. Prior to that, he worked in the Corporate Finance Team (PRC Greater Bay Area Execution Team) of Huatai International’s Investment Banking Division and in the Southern China Team of Huatai United Securities’ Investment Banking Division. He holds a Master of Managerial Economics degree from Nanyang Technological University and a Bachelor of Finance degree from The Australian National University. Mr Dong has a strong foundation in accounting, economics, and finance.
