I like working where the map is still being drawn—where a new technology, product or market has no obvious playbook yet. My work sits at the intersection of AI strategy, investment and commercialization. I turn fast-moving technology into practical decisions about what to build, where to compete and whom to partner with.
Across ByteDance, Xiaomi, Tencent and VMware, I have developed investment theses, mapped global technology landscapes, evaluated early-stage companies and built innovation ecosystems from the ground up. My experience spans foundation models, AI agents, generative content, AI hardware, semiconductors, cloud infrastructure, cybersecurity and enterprise software.
Today, I focus on the international commercialization of ByteDance’s Seed models—analyzing global markets and products, incubating industry solutions and connecting technology with customers, partners and the venture ecosystem.
I am at my best when the problem is ambiguous, the technology is evolving quickly and the answer requires equal parts curiosity, structured thinking and persuasion. I enjoy connecting the dots—and, just as importantly, connecting the people who can turn an idea into a real product, investment or partnership.
