I spent six years researching AI at Tsinghua University and Mila, working across computer vision, NLP, optimization, large language models, time series, and AI for science.
I published papers and improved benchmarks, but one question kept bothering me: how does better AI create real value in the physical world?
My work with Oura gave me an answer. While developing health algorithms using continuous wearable data and clinical biomarkers, I saw a powerful loop emerge: real-world data, continuous model improvement, and long-term human feedback.
This led to my core belief: AI will truly understand people through Personal World Data.
I am now building towards a new kind of AI-native wearable. The first form will be A multimodal ring that captures health, emotion, voice, gestures, and everyday context, combined with a lifelong Personal World Model that grows with its user.
Before becoming an AI researcher, I founded a technology company in 2016 and built platforms serving large-scale coding competitions. I am also a former competitive programmer with a CCPC Gold Medal and four ICPC Asia Regional Silver Medals.
Now, I am bringing research, hardware, and entrepreneurship together to build personal AI.
This future will not be built by one person or one company. I am looking for researchers, engineers, designers, builders, investors, and early believers who want to define this new category together.
