I have over a decade of experience in investment, corporate strategy, business analysis, and business development across early-stage start-ups and Fortune 500 companies in China, Silicon Valley, and emerging markets in Southeast Asia.
I was the founder and CEO of HelloMida, a venture-backed cross-border ecommerce company based on a real-time retail model and a data-driven design approach that empowers Southeast Asia's digitally native Gen Z consumers to express and celebrate their individualism.
Prior to HelloMida, I was a principal at Jungle Ventures, one of the largest Singapore-based VCs investing in Series A/B start-ups in Southeast Asia. My focus was on ecommerce, SaaS, AI, DTC brands, food tech, and property tech.
Before joining Jungle Ventures, I was the Senior Director of Corporate Strategy and Investment at Tencent. In this role, I focused on identifying strategic opportunities in emerging markets, building Tencent's overseas product ecosystem through investments and collaborations with local partners, and overseeing the implementation of deals and capital deployment.
As a Kauffman Fellow and a Milken Institute Global Young Leader, I began my career as a management consultant. I hold an MBA degree in strategy and decision science from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University.
