Yi YUAN is an award-winning technology entrepreneur, philosopher enthusiast, and storyteller who builds businesses, writes ideas, and speaks on stages - from Fortune 500 boardrooms to standup comedy clubs.
With a proven track record in venture building, Yi YUAN currently leads companies in Industry 4.0 spatial intelligence (e.g. XR, Data Analytics, AI / ML, Spatial Digital Twins, etc.), transdisciplinary critical thinking education, and publication, with projects serving hundreds of organizations including multinational firms and governments across 20+ countries, many recognized as the “first” or “flagship” of their kind, e.g. SEA’s first maritime 5G Spatial Digital Twin, SG’s first warehouse 5G AI Spatial Digital Twin, Discovery’s first VR documentary series in APAC, etc.
Academically, Yi YUAN holds an MSc (Distinction) in Philosophy from the University of Edinburgh, specializing in philosophy of science, epistemology, and ethics, and a BA (Merit) in Global Studies (Public Policy) from the National University of Singapore, with a minor in Technology Entrepreneurship. Yi YUAN sees knowledge across disciplines fuses and builds up exponentially, and values the foundations Analytic Philosophy offers for one to master key skills needed in the VUCA era of AI, such as first principles thinking and value judgement.
